Tackling climate change – a resource pack for teachers

Print | Art Direction

The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) wanted to engage the public, and particularly young people, with climate change issues and to provide them with straightforward advice on ways to reduce CO2 emissions.

Instead of seeking to ‘scare’ young people into action, we aimed to encourage debate and to make it clear that there are practical steps they can take to make a difference. The resulting booklet and climate change resource pack for teachers used bold colours and handwritten typography to create a scrapbook feel – something that young people can not just read but get involved with.
